St. Paul’s offers a variety of preschool programs for 3 and 4 year olds. Each class offers a blended program where children have the opportunity to learn about Jesus and God’s world while, at the same time, focusing on academic, emotional, and social development. Early literacy is stressed through listening, speaking, reading, and writing activities. Work is planned that emphasized the process rather than the product, which leads to a sense of accomplishment and pride. Our schedule is designed to balance structure and free choice, active and quiet times, allowing children to learn and develop through quality play activities.
We offer the following 3-year-old preschool options:
- Monday/Wednesday/Friday morning 8:15-11:00
- Monday–Friday morning 8:15-11:00
- Monday/Wednesday/Friday full day 8:15-2:45
- Tuesday/Thursday full day 8:15-2:45
- Monday-Friday full day 8:15-2:45
To attend our 3-year-old program, a child must turn three by September 1 of the current school year. Our preschool provides a wonderful opportunity for children to work on separating from their parents. Children will learn to share and work with their peers and will begin to learn how to make choices about their own actions.
